Advantage^® II kills existing fleas on a treated dog and protects against further flea infestations

Advantage^® Topical Solution with imidacloprid has been recommended by veterinarians for more than 14 years. In addition to this active ingredient, its successor, Advantage^® II, includes pyriproxyfen, an insect growth regulator (IGR) that in combination with imidacloprid kills all flea life stages. This is particularly important if you are facing an existing infestation. 

• In an existing infestation you might only be aware of the adult fleas, which only represent around 5% of the full infestation.
• Immature flea life stages (flea eggs, larvae and pupae), which live in the dog's environment, consist of around 95% of the infestation and can be almost invisible to the naked eye. 
• Advantage^® II with an IGR kills all flea life stages, effectively treating existing infestations and preventing further infestations.
